Holcraft Contracting specializes in bringing your plans to fruition. There are many different avenues in renovation, and we love to let our clients in on the process. We like hearing about your ideas for your renovation goals, so in the first few conversations, we have to be sure to let us know what you are thinking and wanting in terms of the scope of your renovation, the timelines and the budget. This can help us maximize the time spent working together.

Prepare for Your Introduction Meeting

If it sounds like the areas of our expertise fit with the type of project you are looking for, then we can set up a good time for an introductory meeting at our offices. We prioritize getting to know our new clients and hearing about what you have on your renovation wish list. If you have any sketches, pictures, or measurements that can help show what you want to accomplish in your renovation, then you should bring these along with you to the meeting. Try to make a list of your top priorities or must-haves and any potential extras if the budget could accommodate them.

Then, we can provide you with a rough idea of your estimate in terms of scope, timeline and budget. When your project details are coming together, we can plan another meeting, but this time at the site of the project.

Project Site Visit

We will typically meet you on-site to personally view the premises and get a good sense of the environment we will be working in. We are typically accompanied by our trusted project planner, who will take you through the design and planning process. We tour the site and get a feel for the atmosphere and environment. We also make important observations and take the opportunity to make measurements. This is a key visit during the design and planning process logistics, and it can be an extremely valuable time for us to envision an accurate scene of the entire job itself. We will also be able to give you any advice and insight and take all of the details for the next steps. We will also take the opportunity to answer any questions you may have.

Planning

Once we meet with you and view your renovation site, our project paneer will get started by taking you through the planning process steps. These will always depend on your project’s needs, and the planner will give you a comprehensive design package that features 3D renderings, elevation drawings, floor plans, and a list of materials. During this step, our planner will also work with the budgeting of your project. We will obtain estimates and quotes from trades and suppliers, which will help make the budget more clear once this sourcing is completed. The planner works as both your consultant and your representative. They will work with you throughout the entire process and be involved in all parties on your behalf.
